so just a heads up if you stay at this location folks, check the room before taking your luggage in for the night. This is what bothers me about the statement, I paid the full amount of money for the stay and didn't get my fair value back, stating a canned statement doesn't cut it, you can at least provide me with some points or a free night to accommodate my issue, saying just words is actually worthless. Additionally, I was contacted by the general manager after my review and it was just a canned statement as follows, 'on behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations, your satisfaction is important to us'. it was late and notifying the front desk wouldn't have done much I'm sure and we were not going to change rooms as all our stuff was not packed. this is a facility maintenance issue and shouldn't have to have the customer identify this issue. but, on this stay in Joplin, MO I have to give the facility a negative review as the issue I had was with the front door not securely shutting, leaving a gap that let cold air in that we notice at around 10 pm, so I had to use the spare sheets and seal the door gap to stop the air leak and be able to sleep. First off I want to state that I'm a Platinum member and like the brand, I've written many reviews from my stays and they are all positive on both the staff and facility.
